I've owned an Ender 3 for a few months now and wanted a new printer so i could print all the things. The Ender 5 Plus seemed ideal with a magnetic bed and stable frame giving it the ability to print great at higher speeds. It was easy to put together and level, I've been running 24/7 with 0 modifications.

After a bit of bed leveling, this printed great. Well, with the pla they give you and the test file you get. I mean, I can clearly tell it prints VERY well even with a minor speed increase, but the test filament didn't even cover half the test object. GET MORE FILAMENT! Leveling was pretty easy with the large knobs underneath. It was lowered about as low as it could go when I first adjusted so feel free to raise that sucker a bunch. Heated it up, moved the extruder up just a hair using the knob interface and went with a bit more resistance on the index card I used than I thought I needed. Worked fine. Loading filament was more art than science. I cut the tip at a 45 degree angle and it loaded easier. Definitely not quiet by any stretch of the imagination, but my workshop is in the basement. Close the door and it's all set. Doesn't bother me upstairs at all. My dog slept next to it and considering I finished the build at 11:30pm I fell asleep next to it as well in my deskchair.

Initially, I had a rough start with this printer. I took my time and assembled it properly. Bed leveling took a little time, but I got it dialed in and started sending test prints for further tweaking. The printer began rebooting and freezing mid print. I am hooked now. My family is hooked. Co workers too. The quality I am getting from my prints is amazing and it is a lot of fun. 3D printing is no longer just a curiosity for me. This will probably be a life long hobby now thanks to my Ender 5 Plus. I highly recommend this printer.

Q Does it come with an 8-bit board or 32-bit board?

A It is a 8-bit board and the original board of ender 5 plus is not a silent board

Q On the Ender 5 Plus, what is the lead and pitch of the Z-axis lead screws? My printer bed make loud screeching noises when moving up and down despite having greased the screws. It has always done this, but it's time to fix it. I need to know which lead screw nuts to purchase.

A Ender 5PLUS: T8*4 Lead Screw and Brass Nut Please make sure to aligning the bed rods and it helps, or please moved it up and down and tightened the screw, the lube evened it out. Normally it eventually went away after a few prints. If need more help, please don't hesitate to contact us.
