Filament did not stick on the hotbed.For newcomers, this is the most common problem. Do not worry, you can solve it easily. Generally,the distance between the nozzle and platform is too far or near. So rotary the knob under the platform to adjust the distance between the nozzle and platform again, at a piece of A4 paper distance or less).
Creality Ender 3 Bed Leveling – All You Need to Know
Any structure needs a strong foundation. The same is true for 3D-printed objects. Leveling the bed on your Creality Ender 3 will ensure that that all-important first layer is solid...
How to level Creality Creality Ender 3?
Move the nozzle so that it’s positioned over the left corner of the bed. A half-inch or so from both sides is a good location.
Slide the paper between the nozzle and the bed. If it doesn’t fit, drop the corner until it does.
Once the paper is able to slide under the nozzle, very slowly raise the corner with the adjuster. Remember: Clockwise moves the bed up. As you do this, gently slide the paper back and forth. The moment you feel even the slightest resistance to your moving the paper, stop turning the knob. That corner is (almost) ready to go.
Do the same for the other three corners of the build plate. Always advance the hot end to a new corner slowly. This will prevent damage to the build plate in case the nozzle starts to drag. If this occurs, simply lower the next corner (before starting the leveling process) to make some room.
After you’ve adjusted each corner once, go back and check the four corners again. You may have to do further adjustments to get all four correct.

There are 0% printed vitamins in this thing. About half the build comes pre-build in the box.
This is what we RepRappers have been fighting for all these years: good cheap 3D printing.
Taking your time to adjust and level and fine-tune everything turns this build into a full-day project.
But the pay-off is great: hassle-free detailed printing.
Newbies: go to the Tomb of 3D Printed Horrors en check out their Tips & trick to print 80's/90's quality mini's.
Be amazed at what your sub 250 bucks machine can do for you.
(Nothing will give you "FineCast" quality but spun vacu-molding, so quit whining :-) )
RepRap has tought me the hows and whys of building and adjusting my machines with care, so I did not smash my Ender 3 together "in 10 minutes!" but still, it was the most fun build I've done so far.
My Ender has endeared* itself to me on day one.

The ansembly process was a little tricky but I succeeded after almost 2 hours. It prints very good for my taste (its my first printer tho). The printer was surprisingly well packed and premium looking.
I think the only real bad part is the software inside the printer's controller that's a bit laggy, but I guess it can be fixed (if not already fixed since I haven't checkd for updates) with an update.
Another SMALL negative part found until now would be the lower fan exposed to plastic remains, but, as many other users did, I printed myself a cover and mounted it using the existing screws.
Anyway, very good product for a very good price! 10/10 would buy it again.

As anybody who informed himself about what printer to buy can know Creality Ender 3 is the way to go. Can say I had some worries, everything turned out ok. I am now printing away. I can warmheartedly recommend this printer ! Arrived within a week no hassle and free of shipping.

This is an amazing machine! My first 3D printer and I'm hooked! Took about an hour to assemble and right away it was printing excellent. I printed a few parts to attach to the Ender 3 that I found on Thingiverse... filament guides, cable clips, LCD cover, etc. Once those were out of the way, I went straight into printing fun little toys, a replacement button for my suitcase, and even my first Lithphane! The Ender 3 has handled everything I throw at it! I purchased the glass bed and some Creality filament as well and both are fantastic. I'm looking forward to upgrading this machine more with a silent board and more objects from thingiverse. Shipping was fast from China to the US and the item was well packaged and handled. All parts were accounted for even spare parts were included. The instructions were more than adequate to assemble the unit. For the price, you can't beat this machine. I'm continually impressed with the quality and prints this thing can produce. AMAZING!

Love my Ender 3! Went through 3/4 of a roll of hatchbox PLA filament / Cura slicer and suddenly I'm having layer adhesion problems and a lot of stringing. Watched countless videos and can't understand why I have problems. Can you recommend an online trouble shooting guide? Thanks

Generally, the recommended printing temperature for PLA material is 200 degrees for the print head and 60 degrees for the hot bed. You can check the temperature setting requirements of the pla you used
Regarding the stringing, please pay attentent to set the retraction. You could try : the retraction length is 6-10mm, the retraction speed is set to 60-100mm/s, and the nozzle is lifted by 0.2mm during retraction

How do I update the firmware for the ender 3, 3D printer?

Copy the bin file to the TF card, note that there can only be one bin file in the TF card, (bin file is firmware), please rename the file to a simple character, such as: "aaa" (you need to update the firmware every time change the file name to a different). Insert the memory card into the machine and turn it on. After updating the firmware, unplug the TF card and reformat it.
