The two modes can be changed according to the requirements of the user.
Wide-range mode rapidly scans large objects. It consists of a single capture range of up to 560*820mm, covering a large area and allowing users to modify the distance for medium and large objects.
Users do not need to apply anything to the objects prior to scanning, i.e., it tracks them automatically.
High-accuracy mode precisely scans medium-to-small-sized objects. It features a 0.1mm accuracy and a 3D resolution of 0.16mm, ensuring high quality and capturing more details.

The light from the sun, during the day makes scanning stuff 100% easier. You'll figure out how to use this a lot better your first time by doing it in the sunlight. They both worked about the same. Packaging is PERFECT love the little case, and how everything fits snug and safe. Any and all questions I had were handled amazingly by the customer service team! They've always been top notch! Amazing product! Super mobile! Lightweight and small! For that price?? If you don't have this in your arsenal for 3d printing...YOU ARE ALREADY BEHIND THE COMPETITION!

Its a great scanner theres abit of a learning curve to it but once you get it. Its pretty easy on phone or laptop

Works great so far only complaint is that you have to download a apk to get the app it really needs to be on the app store.

Q Will this scan dark-colored hair?

A Scanning hair can be challenging, but there are techniques you can try to achieve a satisfactory result. While it may not be perfect, you can aim for a rough representation. Q Does the scanning speed and distance affect accuracy? The closer the better?

A To optimize the scanning process, it is recommended to adjust the distance between the object and the scanner to achieve the "Perfect" distance setting. This optimal distance ensures accurate and detailed scanning results. Additionally, for improved model quality, continue scanning until the majority of the model turns green, indicating a more complete capture of the object's geometry. If you require finer details, selecting the "Hi-Quality" option will enhance the level of detail captured during the scanning process, resulting in a more precise representation of the object.

Q Can I scan body parts with this scanner

A Yes, this scanner can scan body parts such as hands, legs, waist, etc… It can also scan the whole body.

Q Does this scanner need supplemental light?

A If you are utilizing the Geometry feature and do not require colored mappings for your scans, then there is no need for supplemental lighting. However, if you intend to use the Texture feature and require accurate color mapping, it is advisable to conduct your scans in a well-lit environment. Sufficient ambient light will ensure optimal color capture during the scanning process. In cases where the available light is insufficient, it is recommended to use external LED white light supplementation to enhance the overall lighting conditions and improve the quality of color mapping in your scans.
